The nose is fresh and expressive, with dark berry fruit, blackcurrant and a touch of plum, lifted by the cool, high altitude character of Castelo Rodrigo. There's a pleasing mineral, stony quality running through it, alongside light floral notes typical of Touriga Nacional and a subtle spice from the Tinta Roriz. Precise and clean throughout.
