Are you eligible to enter the 2008 ADAA?
To enter, you must be at least 18 years old and a full-time student at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Republic of China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, India, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil or Turkey.
You’ll need to scan and upload a copy of your student ID or a letter from your faculty verifying your student status.

How do you submit your work?s
To enter your work, you need to create a digital version to upload on the competition site by May 2, 2008, at 5 pm. (PDT).
The judges will preview your entry online, and if they want to examine it in person in the semifinal round, you’ll receive an e-mail message requesting that you send a print or CD/DVD version for arrival by May 23, 2008, to Adobe competition headquarters.
Submitting your photograph (headshot) on the ADAA community site
If you choose to submit your photograph when you submit an entry, you allow the use of it without compensation on the community site or in any publicity for the ADAA competition.
Copyright
You (and your team members, if this is a team project) must have created all the elements in your submission or you must have permission from the copyright holder to use these elements in your work. Here are the kinds of releases you may be asked to supply if your work is selected for distinction:
- Music releases (for music created by others in animations, interactive design entries, live action entries, or motion graphics)
- Appearance releases (for actors in a live action entry)
- Releases for any visual creative asset you didn’t create yourself
What can you win?
The judges will be looking for one winner and two finalists in each category if the quality of the work submitted warrants awarding all the prizes. They may also select additional notable work for honorable mention. See the prizes page for details.
